Experiential Training

People can read scores of leadership books without changing their approach, because there is a difference between intellectual understanding and emotional response.  Experiential training, however, provides an immediate cause and effect, so participants experience an emotional shift as well as an intellectual one.

It is based on the belief that we learn best when we:

    • Are given a challenge
    • Act on it
    • Have time to reflect on what happened
    • Discuss how it is like or unlike what happens at work
    • Witness the direct correlation between our actions and the result of those actions
