Gail and her husband Tom (Quebec chapter) have been involved with YPO since 1985. They owned and operated a business that doubled in size while most of their industry was shrinking, largely due to their unusual change management and leadership style. Using a mixture of seminars, professional speaking and executive coaching, Gail has taken this expertise to companies throughout North America. It has given her work with forums added depth, because she truly understands the world of YPO’ers. Furthermore, Gail’s 29-year marriage and three children in their twenties have given her many insights into building successful relationships and parenting. She has done myriad forum trainings, forum tune-ups, moderator training, young adult forum training, young adult moderator training, and retreats. She has also worked with YPO companies both to develop strength in their management teams and to adapt forum techniques for their meetings. Gail is a highly skilled facilitator who quickly and naturally creates a safe, supportive environment that allows for open, honest communication. With a new group, she creates a level of trust, confidence and sharing that allows them to have a true forum experience. In an on-going forum, she does a detailed analysis to bring out and deal with any unresolved issues or weaknesses, which re-energizes the group. Her style is supportive rather than confrontational, which encourages deep discussion and creative problem solving. She has had great success in helping restore take-home value to meetings, and in integrating new members into existing forums. In the highly functional forums that are interested in personal development, she designs experiences that create breakthroughs for individuals and brings the group to a new level. Gail has worked with YPO and WPO forums all over North America, and facilitated in Europe. She co-created the highly acclaimed "Women’s Breakthrough Retreat", and creates breakthrough retreats tailored to individual forums.
